Parity helps you organize your facts and prepare a draft request for review. You review, complete, sign, and submit it. Self-help document preparation. Not a law firm. No legal advice or representation. Parity uses software rules and, for AI drafts, AI to organize the information you provide; no attorney reviews your draft. The drafts, checklists, and routing information Parity generates are based on the information you provide and published source materials. We are not a law firm, and using Parity does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Parity, its founders, or its contractors.

AI and fill-in drafts
When Parity produces an AI draft, it is generated based on your inputs and our system's configured filing route and source materials. Although we apply automated post-processing and human-curated guardrails, AI output can contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing the draft for accuracy, editing as needed, and deciding whether and how to submit it.
For AI drafts only: Parity instructs its AI to leave out facts it thinks could weaken your request, and it does not mark those omissions, so you need to check the draft against what you wrote before using it.
If Parity labels a document “Built only from your facts · no AI · blanks marked,” it was assembled by software rules without an AI call. It uses only the facts you supplied and visibly marks missing details for you to complete.
How citations are verified
Identifiers are matched to the denial type and checked again before release.
Every citation identifier is checked against a human-curated official-source allowlist, and deterministic checks reject known applicability or characterization conflicts. These checks do not verify every legal proposition; review each citation before sending.
Limits of the result
Our best reading of your plan
Before you send anything, double-check the exact legal company name, the regulator, and the appeal address against your current denial notice, your ID card, and your Evidence of Coverage. If any of them disagree with this result, stop and call Member Services or the regulator named in your own documents.
Parity does not have access to your actual plan documents. This is self-help document preparation and it is not legal advice, so we cannot promise that this company, regulator, address, or deadline is the right one for your coverage.
No guarantee of outcome
Preparing or submitting a filing does not guarantee that your plan will reverse its decision. Parity makes no representation about the likelihood of success of any filing generated by the service. Outcomes depend on the facts of your case, the documentation you provide, and decisions made by your plan and the applicable reviewer or regulator.
Not for emergencies
Parity is a document-preparation tool, not an emergency service, and it is not equipped to help in a crisis. If you or someone you're helping is in immediate danger, call 911. If you're in emotional distress or crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time, free.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Parity on your own behalf. If you are using Parity for a minor, you must be that minor's parent or legal guardian, filing on their behalf with proper authority to do so. If you help another adult, get their permission. Parity's interface and drafting are in English. Spanish guidance pages are available, and answers you write in Spanish stay in your words and are not translated. Routing information covers different plan types, but a route shown in Path Finder does not mean Parity can draft every filing on that route. Follow the availability and next-step instructions shown for your answers.
Your responsibilities
By using Parity, you agree that you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when answering Path Finder questions.
- Reviewing the generated draft for accuracy before signing or sending it. AI drafts may contain errors; no-AI fill-ins use only your supplied facts and mark missing details. You are responsible for confirming the facts are correct.
- Verifying the routing address against your denial letter.
- Mailing or transmitting the letter to the plan or agency named in your filing instructions once you've signed it. Parity does not file on your behalf.
- Keeping copies of everything you send and receive.
- Meeting any filing deadlines that apply to your case.
Launch access
A valid access code opens a complete Single Letter packet free and records access for the supported later filings on that same case. These individual access codes are single-use; each claim is bound to its packet and case. During private testing the packet opens only with a valid code, and it cannot be bought; when Parity opens, the letter will be $29, one time. The total is $0 with a code, and Parity does not collect payment details or use Stripe to process a payment in this mode. An email address is required for the private packet-and-case recovery link after the code is verified. That access email does not enroll you in reminders or marketing.
Access to Parity may be gated by a shared site password. Private case links always have their own access checks. Keep the private link shown on the access screen because recovery-email delivery can fail.
This internet connection can receive up to 3 no-cost drafts each day. Only safely delivered drafts count; failed attempts do not. A separate daily cap applies to AI drafting actions for each set of saved answers. The site-wide free-generation cap is currently 150 AI attempts per day. Per-answer-set and later-filing limits also apply. Parity can pause free generation or change these limits. An access grant does not guarantee unlimited drafts, continuous availability, or email delivery.
Individual access codes are tagged by purpose. Parity records the claim and its case binding as described in the Privacy Policy. Removing an unused code stops its claim; access already recorded for a case remains subject to that case's retention and the supported product features.
Parity keeps its server copy of the generated packet for up to 7 days from generation, not indefinitely. Files you download remain wherever you save them; Parity does not delete them. The linked case page keeps route, dates, checklist, and next-step metadata for 12 months after your last visit or saved update, but it does not keep the packet text or clinical story after the 7-day packet window.
While Parity keeps that server copy, a Parity operator can read its full text to check quality and fix problems, and can save a copy outside the server. Those operator copies are limited to 30 days from generation. That limit is an operator procedure, not an automatic deletion guarantee.
Corrections
If you used an access code, Parity collected no payment, so there is nothing to refund. If a code-access packet needs correction, you may ask Parity to correct a product error. After you open your letter, two rewrites are included, each usable once: "Add facts to this letter" and "Create a new letter from my answers".
Refunds
This applies whenever you pay for a letter.
Full refund within 14 days, no questions asked. Asking us to fix your letter first does not shorten the 14 days. Refund requests are handled by a person, not automatically. Email support@parity.care from the email address you used at checkout (or include your Stripe receipt), and we'll refund you back to the original payment method.
Appeal decisions often take 30–60 days, so the 14-day refund covers the quality of your letter, not the appeal outcome.
If a promotion code reduced your total to $0, there is no payment to refund.
Choosing a fix is optional and never delays or reduces your 14-day refund right. If you choose “fix it,” that means we regenerate or correct the document(s) you purchased to address the problem you report, for example, a wrong routing address, a factual error introduced by the draft, or a formatting defect. We'll make one correction attempt if you choose it; if the problem still isn't resolved to your satisfaction, the full refund applies. Fixing never restarts or shortens your 14-day refund window.
Case pages, reminders, and check-ins
A packet includes a content-minimized recovery case page, and any Parity user can create the same kind of case page free, reachable through a unique private link. It tracks an event-based timeline. Exact dates appear only when you provide the event that starts the relevant clock. Reminders are a convenience, not a legal safeguard, meeting your deadlines is ultimately your responsibility.
We may also email you a short, optional check-in asking how your case turned out (approved, denied, or still waiting). Answering is entirely up to you and never affects your access to anything in your packet. The check-in requires a separate opt-in and enabled email delivery. A testimonial-contact choice lets us ask for permission; it does not itself authorize publication.
Product feedback is optional. Skipping a question or choosing not to share an outcome does not change your packet access, support, price, or refund rights. Survey answers are not instructions to file, proof that a filing was received, or permission to publish your story. Parity does not promise a particular outcome in exchange for feedback.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Parity to draft submissions on behalf of someone who has not authorized you to do so.
- Submit knowingly false information through the Path Finder.
- Attempt to interfere with, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Resell or rebrand Parity-generated drafts as your own product.
Limitation of liability
Parity is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parity is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Subject to rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit, Parity's aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Subject to applicable law, you and Parity agree to resolve disputes about these terms or the service in state or federal courts located in California.
Before anything formal: email support@parity.care and give us 30 days to make it right. Nothing in these terms limits your right to bring a claim in small claims court, or to complain to any regulator.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Parity after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
